we use BCI Cotton in all our fabrics, for best growing practices globally, and we are able to offer US Cotton, Organic, & Recycled cotton. Natural fibers like Hemp & Linen used to reduce dependency on cotton.

Chemicals

Using better chemicals for our water and soil.
Sweet Indigo is Stella Blu & Prosperity's proprietary technology. It utilizes a glucose-based reducer to replace hydrosulfites. Pre-reduced liquid indigos reduce the amount of harsh chemicals like aniline used in the indigo reduction process.
Revelation Black is Stella Blu & Prosperity's proprietary technology. Using low impact dyes that are organically reduced, this old school black comes with a crisp white core and washes down to a beautiful somewhat blue casted grey.⁠

With over 60% chemical savings, ethical low impact dyeing, and blue cast black to grey.⁠
This is an eco-friendly alternative to powder indigo, which cuts back significantly on caustic soda and water usage. Additionally shade stability is significantly enhanced.

Process

Using less water and energy in our processes.
We use Ozone finishing to reduce water usage. Ozone bleaching can be a very low impact and equally effective bleaching process compared to sodium hypochlorite bleaching.
Using lasers as an alternative wash process for our denim fabrics reduces chemical and water use traditional needed for stonewashing and bleaching. It is also less toxic and provides improved fabric quality after processing. Laser technology is considered faster than traditional washing methods, the designs can easily be reproduced, and the same selection designs can be applied to a range of different fabrics with relatively small adjustments.
